Transforming Softcat for Christmas: A magical entrance and festive trees that spark festive cheer

Inleaf were approached by long-time client and IT solutions firm, Softcat, to bring a wow factor to their offices just in time for Christmas. Their brief was for their HQ and several regional offices, including Leeds, Glasgow, London, and Manchester to be decorated for Christmas. 

Softcat provide IT services and solutions all over the UK, where they specialise in delivering technology solutions to businesses, organisations and the public sector. 

Our client opted for artificial Christmas trees internally due to their consistent appearance and longevity. These artificial trees and garlands were placed throughout their offices, complementing the purple walls, purple LED lighting, and cool toned wood and flooring. To tie everything together the baubles matched the company’s corporate colours. 

To bring the festive spirit outdoors, we were asked to create an entrance design at their head office. We used artificial spruce foliage to add greenery and texture, creating a natural looking backdrop. Oversized baubles in glossy and matte finishes and sparkly stars in the company’s colours added depth to the display. The warm white lights wrapped around the textured spruce gave the archway a welcoming glow, enhancing the display with a festive sparkle through the dark winter months.

An external real tree was installed in the car park area which was decorated with oversized baubles and warm white lights. The tree was weighted at the base for safety and dressed to look visually appealing and full of festive charm.

Our client was extremely satisfied with the results of the Christmas displays, particularly the use of the company colours and the attention to detail to bring the design to life. We are excited to continue working with them on future seasonal and year round installations.
