Transforming Shepherd and Wedderburn’s central London office with plants

• Inleaf transformed Shepherd & Wedderburn’s office.
• A mix of Monsteras, palms, Dracaenas, Aglaonemas, and orchids were used.
• Ongoing maintenance means the plants continue to thrive.

Shepherd and Wedderburn invited Inleaf to enhance their office with the goal of creating a calmer, fresher and more vibrant workspace. Over the course of the installation, Inleaf transformed key areas, blending greenery into the office’s design.

The transformation began at the arrival space, where an Araucaria Cunninghamii tree in a tall grey tapered container sets a bold, inviting tone. It’s layered foliage and smooth pebble top dressing create a welcoming first impression. 

Meeting rooms were carefully considered to balance structure, greenery, and atmosphere. In the six person room, a bold Montsera paired with a Palm brought softness and formality to a space designed with discussion. In the larger 14 person meeting room, Inleaf arranged Dracaena Fragrans ‘Cintho’, Montstera, and a tall Aglonema to introduce height, texture, and subtle colour variation.  

Smaller areas also benefited from thoughtful greenery. A Monstera in the informal meeting room added a friendly, welcoming touch, while a tall Strelitizia Nicolai beside the meeting pod transformed an unused corner into a natural focal point. In the tea point, a tall aglaonema brought calm and a sense of reset to this practical, busy space. 

To provide a refined finishing touch, Inleaf added double-stem white orchids in a matt black bowl with moss top dressing and a desktop display. Its simplicity offered a subtle contrast to the larger leafy plants, adding elegance without overwhelming the space.  

As the project progressed, Shepherd and Wedderburn extended their order, adding extra Monstera displays, a Dracaena , additional Aglonema, and palms to ensure greenery flowed consistently throughout the workspace. Inleaf continues to provide ongoing maintenance, keeping all plants vibrant and healthy. 

What started as a desire to improve the workspace has resulted in a more lively, welcoming, and positive environment. Inleaf’s plants help Shepherd and Wedderburn mix tradition with healthy office design.
