Liftoff Mobile invited Inleaf to enhance their five floors of their London office space with living plants. The company, which supports advertisers, publishers, game developers and DSPs scale their revenue, wanted a fresh cohesive planting scheme throughout the building. Inleaf delivered a unified design across all levels combining free standing displays, desktops and troughs. Every installation features living plants with pebble topping and self watering systems for easy, reliable care.
Ground Floor: Setting the Tone
A bold Sansevieria display welcomes visitors at Liftoff’s London office entrance. The plant sits in a modern black tapered container, topped with smooth pebbles. Its tall, clean shape brings confidence to the entrance and sets the fresh tone for the building.
First Floor: Lush, Bright and Uplifting
On the first floor, Inleaf added architectural plants to complement the open, airy layout. By the large windows, two Strelitzia plants stand tall on either side, their sculptural leaves framing the natural light. In textured black containers, they immediately elevate the room’s look and feel.
Further into the space, two mature Aglaonema plants sit in front of the TV pillars. Their patterned foliage softening the interior, creating a more inviting, balanced environment. At the rear, a single palm adds height and movement, brightening the corner.
This floor also features several troughs. Ileaf lined each one with a waterproof insert and planted trailing Epiremnum’s to create a watertight display. One existing Sansiveria in a side-wall trough was refreshed as part of the care plan.
Second Floor: Soft, Light, and Contemporary
Inleaf selected lighter containers to compliment the second floor’s aesthetic. Two small Aglaonema plants sit on the stationery cupboards in white globe containers, bringing a clean, tidy touch. In the Mercury Room, a tall palm adds height and structure to the space.
Around the corner, a Monstera deliciosa in an anthracite tapered container transforms an empty corner into a standout feature. Two pre-existing troughs were refreshed and replanted with trailing Epipremnum, creating easy-to-care-for greenery. A hardy Zamioculcas completes the floor, chosen for its clean shape and durability.
Third Floor: Greenery at Work
The third floor combines freestanding displays with desktop plants, bringing greenery directly into the working space. As on the other floors, Inleaf maintained and refreshed three pre-existing troughs, using waterproof liners and Epipremnums to create a consistent flow of plants across the floor.
On the shelf units, smaller displays were added to bring character. These included trailing Epipremnum in grey containers, “Crispy Wave” ferns in white pots, and a sculptural Mikado, each contributing texture and visual variety in a textured sphere.
Fourth Floor & Mezzanine: Bright Spaces, Bold Plants
The fourth floor and mezzanine are filled with natural light, so Inleaf chose sun-loving plants to thrive in these conditions. A hardy Yucca by the main window adds structure and presence, while a tall Sansevieria near the door echoes greenery featured on earlier floors.
Behind the sofa, a Mikado and trailing Epipremnum provide subtle desktop greenery, softening the seating area. A Zamioculcas brightens the eating area, and two matching Sansevieria on the mezzanine create symmetry and visual continuity. In the corner, a soft, arching palm completes the space, making the seating area feel calm and inviting.
Inleaf continues to maintain the plants at Liftoff’s office to keep their greenery looking fresh all year round.
