The High Line — Exploring New York’s raised linear park

  • Built on part of a reclaimed raised railway on the West side of Manhattan
  • Construction began in 2006 with the park opening in 2009
  • Expanded in various phases to its current 1.45 mile span
  • The free attraction is visited by around 5 million visitors each year
